Business English

Mark Clifton

Born and raised in Birmingham, UK, he spent most of my working life in Birmingham and London. Following on a number of intriguing coincidences he was offered the opportunity of coming to Budapest

Having spent over ten years living and working within the CEU region, predominantly based in Budapest, Mark gained considerable business and intercultural experience both in working with and leading successful teams in a variety of business environments including Marketing, Business development and customer service.

The Brit was set up to assist both individuals and organisations with their communication needs, both in terms of their language usage but also with a keen focus on cultural differences and methods of communicating effectively for business purposes. My method (3 C’s – Concept, Context and Communicate) has proven an effective method of activating the passive language knowledge thereby increasing the delegates’ confidence and communication potential.
