Seed Accelerator

Get funded by Colabs and work with the most experienced entrepreneurs and specialists as your personal mentors.

Colabs Seed Accelerator is a startup development and financing model that provides 3M HUF seed investment for the most promising Hungarian projects. The selected teams are participating in a 3 months long product-, customer- and business development process in which they are mentored and supported by experienced entrepreneurs and seasoned experts.

It’s a 15-week program in the autumn. We invest $15,000 in your company for a 12% stake, and we give you a lot more help along the way.

Startup Weekend Budapest

Startup Weekends are weekend-long, hands-on experiences where entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs can find out if startup ideas are viable. On average, half of Startup Weekend’s attendees have technical backgrounds, the other half have business backgrounds.

Beginning with open mic pitches on Friday, attendees bring their best ideas and inspire others to join their team. Over Saturday and Sunday teams focus on customer development, validating their ideas, and building a mvps. On Sunday evening teams demo their prototypes and receive valuable feedback from a panel of experts.

It was great to meet like-minded people, and basically Startup Weekend is the only place to do that!

Startup School is designed to attract top talents from universities and introduce them to the startup world. These 6 days long events mix up tech, business and design students to break down faculty walls and help them to get inspired, form teams and make ideas happen.

Elevator Pitch Competition


Elevator Pitch Competition became Budapest’s most prominent startup investment forum since 2010. The presenting companies all together have attracted $6 million+ funding from angel and VC investors so far.

Elevator Pitch Competition is an invitation only forum for the most promising Hungarian startups, VCs and angel investors taking place each year at the Budapest Stock Exchange. During the first rounds of the competition the selected startups have 2 minutes to grab the attention of the investors and get the votes of the jury to get into the Grand Finals.

The second day after winning the competition I was reached out by the VC firm with whom we finally signed our investment contract.
