Before submitting your application please check the timeline for the fixed dates of the program.
Step 1. - Form
Complete and submit your application before the deadline. You can answer the questions in English or Hungarian, choose the language you prefer.
Step 2. - Interviews
If you are selected for the next round, Colabs will contact and invite you for a 30-minute-long team interview. The final selection is made on the basis of the application form and the interview.
Basecamp
The BaseCamp is a 5-week-long section where the goal is to get your project ready to be funded and be prepared for the more intense and customized 14-week-long LaunchPad program. This section takes place at Colabs Startup Center and all the team members are required to take part in the whole process.
Mentor week
At the end of the BaseCamp there is the Mentor Week where you meet many of the Colabs mentors one-by-one to introduce your startup and get valuable feedback. If a mentor gets passionate about your business and you can also imagine to work with him/her during the program that’s what we call a project/mentor fit.
Launchpad
Based on the performance and results of the BaseCamp only the best teams will get funded and selected into the LaunchPad section. During the 14 weeks you will work intensively. This part of the program gives much more intense and customized support for your startup that builds upon the work we started at the BaseCamp. During this period your team works with its dedicated mentor(s) and seasoned experts to get your startup at the best possible shape for the Colabs Demo Day.
Launchpad phases are: I. groundwork + planning, II. execution + building III. pitching + selling
Demo day | Follow-on funding
The LaunchPad section ends with a Demo Day where you present your startup in front of a room full of angel investors, venture capitalists. If your goal is to get follow-on funding this is the most effective way to get in front of the investor community and grab their attention.
